From the seller: “He acquired the car as a fully race prepared flat front Firenza Coupe. It finished third overall at Castle Combe in the early 1990s in the first race during his ownership. It was raced several times after this but was involved in an accident at Spa Francorchamps circuit on its last outing in the mid-1990s. However, the shell was damaged beyond repair on one side.
We were able to purchase a Droopsnoot road car rolling shell to rebody the race car. It is a 1975 Firenza Droopsnoot with a 9F37REX prefix VIN number which confirms that it is a genuine Droopsnoot built in 1975 at the Ellesmere Port factory.
All of the key race components such as roll cage, engine, ZF gearbox, axles, braking system, fuel tank etc. were transferred to the Droopsnoot shell but it requires finishing.”
