From the seller: “1987 Skoda Rapid 130 coupe. This is an excellent example in good, road going condition. MOT’d until April 2022, straight, very clean bodywork, 61,000 miles.
The car had £1,350 worth of welding and paint to rear wheel arches and luggage locker (I have photos of the work). Front brake re-build, two new front tyres, brake master cylinder hoses replaced, carb serviced, new exhaust, oil changed 1,000 miles ago. Seats and interior trim in good condition.
Mechanically the car is in fine fettle and pulls well. Recently took me from the Weald of Kent to Braintree and back in a day. Stock steel wheel and good tyre in spare wheel tray to free up boot space, but car comes with a fifth factory alloy and tyre. Manual override switch for cooling fan. Some spares including a set of column stalks and five-speed gearbox.
The water pump has a tiny leak at the pully spindle, which if I hadn’t told you about it would probably go unnoticed. I have a new replacement which is due to be fitted on October 20th.”
