Spotted on eBay, this MG Metro is bound to tick a lot of boxes for some people. An interesting, subtly modified project car.
From the seller: “We are selling the family project car that has been in the family since 2005. Originally bought as a runaround it has been kept within the family and eventually ended up as a project car with the intention of running some hill climbs or track days.
It has a racing cam in the engine (original MG cam included in sale) and although drivable on the road it can be hard to drive in slow driving conditions such as a town (see video for country road driving). It has been tuned by a professional garage but due to its age it has seen better days as a car. Rust has begun to appear in certain places (see photos) and the paintwork is sufficient for the purpose it has been used for and would need a repaint if restoring the car to original condition.”
