I brought the Mini April’23 from an elderly couple, it had sat in their garage since 2010, it was previously their sons & they was hoping to restore if for themselves.
I was planning a full restoration with my son, I’ve managed to get the car running & sorted the brakes.
The car was driving fine, a few rattles etc, it needs the carb adjusting – I have also sourced a “new old stock” carb (including in the sale)
It’s been sat a few months, I’ve just jump-started & can confirm its still running – albeit for a few minutes, petrol needs topping-up
The car is solid, runs & stops, it my opinion it’ll needs a mechanical check and bodywork addressing (see pics) the minilites are also in great condition.
The bodywork needs a lot of work, sills, wings etc.
I’ll include in the sale many parts maybe £100’s if not £1000’s worth, too many to list (see pics)
Quick overview: New radiator, sills, boot, full exhaust, many body panels, grill, many more – should be enough at least to achieve an MOT”
