From the seller: “1949 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Van. This was bought out of an estate sale so I don’t know loads about the van. It was set up for Englishtown drag strip in New Jersey so it is good for the road or fun at the strip. It is running a 358 cubic inch engine with automatic transmission and has a Holley double pumper carburettor, NASCAR headers, gear drive, 456 rear end, disc brakes on the front. The van has been in hibernation in a barn for a long time approximately since 1997 (so 24 years). It has recently been bought back to life with a light recommission, like carburettor stripped and cleaned, new fuel pipes, new flexy brake pipes and brakes stripped and cleaned, replaced exhaust, replaced tyres, etc.”
