From the seller: “MK1 Escort 1968 2 door RHD rolling shell
Early 1968 model with early type separate rear shock mounts, holes in front chassis legs for compression struts etc – it has at some point been fitted with later mk1 doors and fuel filler (common in the 80s!)
All in all the shell is actually very good – the chassis rails are mostly good with just some bubbling on front swan neck sections, inner wings are solid, bulkhead ok although heater bubble has been deleted. Boot floor solid and not been crumpled. Has been fitted with steel mexico flared front wings which are solid. Needs some repairs to front floors but rest sound. Front scuttle panel solid but rear needs repair or replacing (new panels now available) The paint is horrendous and needs bare metalling.
Complete English rear axle with diff, nice condition 13” GT rostyle wheels with reasonable tyres.
Also includes –
Wind Screen
Rear side glass (Door glass is fitted)
Front indicator lenses
Current style logbook present”
