From the seller: “A great project for someone to do this winter! This Bug has had a great deal of work done to it and needs someone to finish it off to enjoy its uniqueness.
The frame has been taken right back and rebuilt with all new bushes, nuts and bolts and powder coated in black. The body work has been resprayed and has had extensive repairs, including new steel plates inserted in the strength areas around the canopy hinges, fox eye style headlights and wider wheel arches to accommodate the slightly bigger and wider wheels that have sticky Yoko tyres. Disc brake conversion to all 3 wheels.
All new seats, head rests etc, locks, doors recovered and with new hinges but not yet fitted, orange seat belts, alloy fuel tank, stainless steel exhaust, Honda Fireblade 919cc engine fitted in place, bespoke propshaft fitted to the engine to drive the rear wheels, new window rubbers, carpets and so many more new parts fitted or ready to be fitted.
The car needs to have its wiring finished, a radiator, front and rear shocks and a speedo amongst just a few other items to finish it. A couple of scuff marks will need touching up from being in storage.
It is registered with its original number plate, currently SORN, the v5c is in my name and the correct engine number and cc is listed on the paperwork.”
