From the seller: “A very rare phase 2 car, 1989 – G registration, black paint with tan leather, factory air conditioning, factory orthopaedic seat pack, was a running driving car until I removed the original engine as it had a coolant leak from a nearside cylinder head core plug. Whilst it was out I had an opportunity to buy a very low mileage (45k) engine – which I then installed but never finished.
Prior to this I did all the necessary welding, new clutch/hydraulics, new rear brake callipers, 4 new Dunlop tyres, turbo charger was stripped and checked and loads of other works. I sourced all the replacement parts I needed which come with the vehicle including a new centre & rear exhaust (the one fitted is fine but bought this as a spare anyway).
This is being sold as a non-runner as I’ve never finished it – the replacement engine is sat back in the car but it needs plumbing in, turbo needs putting back on, then the rest of the car will need recommissioning,”
