Clearly this van has been dry stored at times in its life to be in the condition it’s in.
The van has had a new battery, choke pulled out, turn the key and fired straight up into life.
The last mot expired in 2019 and is booked in at noon on Saturday. Where my unit is, there’s an mot training centre, I drove the van round and instantly the lads was flocking round the van which was a bit odd as the van is a lot older than they are. Anyway I left it with them and came back the following day, they couldn’t believe it. They described the van as very good for its age and could t see why it would fail an Mot. So it will have 12 month Mot if for any reason it fails the work will be done before the new owner collects.
The van is 32yr old, less than 8 yrs until it’s mot and tax exempt! I would recommend all bidders to view the van so you can see exactly what’s up for grabs. It’s not mint or perfect!”
