I purchased in 2017 and haven’t really done anything except some mechanical maintenance, seals and bits, winscreen wipers, airfilter, plugs etc.. . Starts first time ( which is useful!) drives and runs as a Mini should . The car is currently Taxed & MOT’d , I’ve just been for a spin , it’s so much fun, I’m still not sure if i’m doing the right thing….
The guy I bought it from had made some modifications , he changed the steering wheel and speedo and I’m told rebuilt the engine, but I don’t have any receipts to prove that.. Please see pictures. I bought the car, being a bit sentimental, my first car was a mini and I wanted reminisce my teenage years, which have long gone.
It needs new door skins and painting. The clock had been changed , don’t know why but the original is still in the car. Comes with some spare parts including Union Jack door cards ( if that’s what rocks your boat) , original steering wheel also. It has covered about 20 miles since purchased, only going to the garage for maintenence and MOT etc… THE CAR IS A PROJECT.”
