Ford Escort MK1 RS2000

From the seller: “I have for sale my totally rebuilt Mk1 RS2000, an excellent example of this iconic fast road car (back in the day).
The car is in stunning Olympic blue with deep blue striping.

It has polished RS wheels with brand new tyres x 5.

The body has been completely restored and painted by a professional classic bodyshop inside and out. All new rubbers were sourced and fitted around the windows and door shuts including chrome trims. Then new bumper bars were fitted front and rear and hockey sticks to the roof (chrome).

The underneath is also painted and protected with wax oil, as are the wheel arches.

The interior has been completely reupholstered using the correct cloth with roll top headrests, new internal door cards have been fitted to both doors.

The engine had been previously rebuilt when the car was purchased, its the original standard 2 litre engine with twin carburettors, with aluminium sump, it is mated to a 5 speed type 9 gear box, which is the only non standard part on the car.”
