From the seller: “Ford Transit V8 van, fitted with a Rover 3.5i engine and an overdrive manual gearbox, it drives well and is pretty economical to run at 32 mpg overall on LPG, on a run from London it was getting the equivalent of 42 mpg.
I have owned it for four years and only one previous owner who purchased it new in 1987 and converted it three years later with a new V8 engine.
Will be a great project for someone either as a camper or custom van, I was going to have the rear wheels banded by 50mm and fit 265 tyres to fill the arches then give it a paint, it cleans up with a good wash and only needs the bottom sill areas done.”
