This car has been in storage for the past 3.5 years & has been started once a month. I purchased this XJS from Warwickshire from a Jaguar collector & drove it back to Nottingham then used it for approximately 3 months. Drove lovely. I then stored the for 3.5 years as a investment & now need the space so can no longer keep it. The car starts & drives, goes through the gears as it should.
Generally the cars look presentable on first glance but a closer look & there are spots of corrosion to the paintwork, nothing too bad to look at but small spots in a couple of places.
Like most Jaguars of this age the roof lining is sagging & I have supported this temporarily with drawing pins. Needs a general clean & recommissioning.”
