From the seller: “Up for sale is my lovely little MK2 Escort, with genuine Recaro race seats.
I bought it a couple months ago for summer and hasnt missed a beat even after a 400 mile drive from Newcastle, but sadly have to sell due to the lack of space where I live. Engine has been rebuilt and upgraded to a 1640cc crossflow engine with a piper fast road cam along with DCOE40 duel webber carbs to set it off completely. I have recently taken it in to have the carbs tuned and is now running a lot smoother with a fitted fuel regulator, and copper fuel pipe front to back for maximum life.
Presented with a Valid MOT until 23rd November 2021 with no advisories, although it is exempt from one.
Other Modifications carried out by previous owners include a rebuilt gearbox with quickshift and new clutch, one piece propshaft, Quaife ATB limited slip diff, new copper brake pipes and braided brake hoses and an electronic fuel pump. Bias Peddle box with Willwood Master cylinders under the dash to keep the engine bay nice and tidy. Bilstien shocks all round with 2″ lowering blocks. 12 gallon rally petrol tank. By reccomendation from previous owner, all work was carried out during 2020 so everything has settled in nicely.”
