On 7 August, Mercedes-Benz World will be re-opening its doors to the public once again. The immersive brand experience centre – based in Weybridge, Surrey – will be open between Friday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm.
Charlotte Poole, General Manager, Mercedes-Benz World, said: “We’re so excited to be welcoming the public back to Mercedes-Benz World. To keep both our visitors and staff safe, we have introduced a wide range of safety measures including readily available hand sanitiser, social distancing and we are encouraging people to wear face coverings. We’ve also been given the official ‘Good to Go’ mark by Visit Britain.
With our vast selection of displays and attractions, Mercedes-Benz World provides the perfect day out for motorsport fans as well as the whole family. ”
Mercedes-Benz World is based on part of the legendary Brooklands racetrack, which opened in 1909 and was the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit – it was even home to the first British Grand Prix in 1926.
Visitors to the site can book an exhilarating driving experience on the track and wet skid circle, or the off-road course spanning 10 acres. There are also plenty of Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models to explore throughout the expansive 17,500m² of themed displays spread across 3 floors.
Motorsport fans are also well catered for thanks to the suspended view of a Formula One car and the race simulators, which allows guests to put their own racing skills to the test.
Furthermore, as a small thank you to our key workers, Blue Light Card holders – those who work in the Emergency Services, NHS, social care sector and Armed Forces – can enjoy a complimentary simulator ride.
Additionally, those who have booked onto an AMG, 4×4 or Drive Mercedes driving experience will be entered into a prize draw, and will have the chance to win their money back. Each month three winners will be picked at random.
Customers can also visit the Mercedes-Benz Pop-Up shop which has a wide range of exciting merchandise to buy, including official F1™ team wear, fragrances and accessories.
To keep visitors safe, a one way system has been put in place to ensure social distancing. Wearing a face covering will also be encouraged, and hand sanitiser will be offered throughout the building.
