From the seller: “For Sale is my 1968 restoration project that ive not got round to starting yet.
V5 Present.
All Taxes Paid.
Was originally a 6 Cylinder ‘T’Code car but was converted to a V8 in th USA.
Has the 5 stud v8 wheel conversion.
Appears to have a relatively new prop shaft and swapped rear axle/diff.
It arrived to me with the following fitted.
New Fuel Tank
New B&M Shifter
New Rad
New Electric Fan
New Alternator
New Starter
New Summit 4 Barrel Carb.
New Headers
Distributor also appears to be fairly new.
Edelbrock Intake manifold
Frame rails look straight and clean, torque boxes and cowl also look clean and solid.
Has had rear floor pans replaced in the USA but to be honest they could do with a tidy up.
Front pans have small holes that will need sorting, it may need other small minor welding work.
Car seems very solid and is a great candidate for restomod or restoration.
Its a straight car but like most projects will need some bodywork and obviously a respray.
It needs most the interior and rubbers.
Its running Drum brakes all round.
Needs an exhaust.
All Electrics appear to work other than the interior lights which is more than likely a switch or bulb.
The car starts and runs but would need to be trailered away.
This is a running car from a dry state that could do with a good restoration.”
