What a fantastic little Land Rover Series 2 this is. You’d probably be surprised to find out she’s 65-years old!
From the seller: “New in 1958 , and owned by the purchaser until recently ! this 88” Land Rover runs and drives as it should……………the 2000cc diesel engine starts when asked without fuss.
Bought and owned by a landed estate it saw little use outside of the grounds and has covered only 20,000 miles ! Eminently useable but could be made prettier……….but why would you ? Dry stored as part of a collection of vehicles it has now become available for new ownership………….
The chassis is in very good order showing no signs of rot, some work has been carried out to the suspension, radiator and exhaust and with a newly fitted battery it fires up and drives as it should………….
The original buff log book along with its original purchase invoice and other documents are present and it has a current V5.”
