Wow! We love this Mini. The seller states that it needs some work, so once you’ve fallen in love with the photos, make sure you’re prepared to do this old girl justice!
From the seller: “I’ve owned the car twice since 2003, first time was I was at college and it’s was in a garage where it had stood unused for 26 years. I then sold it and instantly regretted it but had to wait 3 years to buy it back. It’s had many forms from the standard 850 super delux on drum brakes, then a 998, later a 1275 with Cooper s brakes on the front, then a 1310 with 10×6” revolution wheels and moguls arches. Finally I decided to build it in the format you see now. I’ve had my fun with it and it’s time to let it go.
There are a couple of things that require slight attention, the wiring is all present and correct, the fuse box just needs mounting.
It’s never been set up, the timing has been set but the furling was never set up on a rolling road, the fuel pressure etc may need some adjustment. It runs and drives fine but I’m sure there is more to do to get the best out of it.
The alignment has only been set up using a straight edge so I’d suggest that needs to be done properly and the camber was only set up by me.
It was painted in 2008 but still looks very fresh, obviously it’s not mint and there is the odd scratch here and there. It’s a Vauxhall smoke grey colour black roof and black arches.”
