From the seller: “Overall a very clean car especially for the age, believe it to have been re shelled into a 1988 but heritage on the V5 so tax and mot exempt.
I have owned the car for about 9 months and have only used it on warm evenings, it saw rain once the day i collected it but that’s it in my ownership, 800 trouble free miles as i used it for meets and having a little hoon on the B roads.
It is a proper racecar really, no heaters or fans , a boost gauge and a digital dash, noisy because of the Straight cut box but its a fantastic noise which all adds to the experience
I contacted the garage who was sold it to the person before me and asked about what they thought and they were happy with the car overall, agreed it was very fast!
Interior is very clean and the body overall is bar a scratch in the clear on the left side , a scuff on the rear bumper and some paint damage around the scuttle at the front pictured.
I replaced the bonnet with a arc angel fiberglass cooper S and it fits as well as an aftermarket bonnet can. I have not strapped it down yet as i wanted to see what the new owner wanted before drilling.
Test drives can be done with it strapped down so its not an issue. i have a pair new straps to go with it.
Unlike anything i have driven before it needs to driven correct to get the speed out of it , foot down to the floor will just have it spinning down the road.
It’s a fantastic car but i have been offered something i have always wanted and i don’t have the space to keep both. ”
