1975 Land Rover Series 3 Diesel 109

A bit of a project, but what Land Rover isn’t?!! This looks like it would make a fantastic workhorse in the hands of a new owner.

From the seller: “Sadly I have to let my Land Rover go… I bought her last year and was planning to use her over the summer, roof off, and through the winter… roof on again.. but my back says ‘no’.
She is a work in progress, and she needs stuff doing to her.. here is a list that i was going to do as i went along, door tops, one needs new channelling, one needs replacing, new seats, i only have the drivers seat at the moment, various cosmetic work inside… the engine starts well and runs, she does smoke on acceleration, but it has been suggested a new injector might sort this, the brakes bind slightly, new shoes cylinders and hoses all round i have them tight to help them ‘bed in’ the servo is not connected, the connector comes with the car… the temp reads hot even when its only warm… (wrong sensor?)
On the good side it has … a new alternator, battery, heater valve, indicator/ light stalk, lights all round, rear crossmember, clutch master and slave cylinder and hose and pipe, brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders hoses and shoes, wipers and washers and pump, new oil and filter and fuel filter, new glow plugs and relay, new gearbox mounts (mod removable gearbox crossmember handy) new (home made) wiring (could be tidied up) that’s all i can think of right now..
the chassis is original and good for a few years yet, tyres have lots of tread.”
