From the seller: “Here we have one of my Mk 2 Escort vans sporting RS 2000 running gear.
Bought already converted and owned by me since 2019 as part of my classic car collection. I have Mot’d the van once since I have owned it and the van has only stayed locked away within my dry insulated garages since my ownership. The test has now expired and although now over 40 years old, potential becoming a Historic vehicle, I will put a new test on the van for the new owner should my reserve be met.
I got the van out of storage today and drove it about 3 miles. The van does everything it should do, it ran and drove perfectly with all gages responding to correct levels etc. The van has the 2.0 litre OHC / now known as “pinto” engine coupled to a 5 speed box.”
