From the seller: “A car that was firmly planted upon the walls of any petrol head’s bedroom of the time! We are honoured to present to you this Lamborghini Countach 25th anniversary model.
A model produced to celebrate Lamborghini’s 25th year as a company and was revealed at the 1988 Italian Grand Prix at Monza – it arguably went on to become THE most identifiable Countach ever built. It is also one of the rarest available too being one of just 658 anniversary’s built but more importantly only of just 57 Right hand drive cars too.
This particular example (order number 1278) was by placed in October 1988 at the cost of £5000 just to reserve a built allocation. This was in anticipation of delivery in early 1990. The documents confirm the order number was then in fact sold in December 1988 to the gentleman who then became the first owner. The vehicle received by the first owner at Portman Lamborghini of 108, George street, London. It was registered to the first owner on 11th May 1990 who owned the car up to 2008. ”
