The Midgie is ready to take you anywhere… Using a base of an ex- British Military Leyland DAF T244 with an insulated isolation shelter box, we have converted her into an off-grid, go everywhere overland vehicle for 4 people that could even be used as an Airbnb, full-time off grid accommodation or the ultimate bug out vehicle in these uncertain times.

With no ECU and simple mechanics, The DAF T244 offers real advantages over newer more expensive base vehicles i.e. It can be fixed anywhere, in any country…

The Midgie has…

  • 5. 9ltr Cummins diesel engine, basic reliable drive train and a simple air brake system – that’s it – very little to break or go wrong as you adventure round the world.
  • Permanent 4×4, Centre-diff-lock, transfer case (low/ hi range gearbox), Manual 5 speed
  • Standard 12. 00R20 wheels with tubed tyres. Also comes with an unused spare chassis mounted wheel.
  • 3 cab seats and comes with an additional 2 flip down seats with integral harnessed
  • MOT till April-24″
