Land Rover Defender 90 200tdi with galvanised chassis – Project

A good Land Rover is always worth saving and this Defender 90 has a lot going for it. Fancy it?

From the seller: “My 90 up for sale has a 200 tdi engine that’s just died on me can’t get into a garage till 3rd Feb so if it gose before that happy days if not I’ll keep it.
Good parts.
The 90 has just ran out of mot as the engine died before the mot test.
Galvanised chassis done by alpine restoration in 2019 and both foot Wells cut out and replaced at the same time.last year had series style doors fitted professionally by simon huntington and they repaired the top halfs of the bulkhead. (

I have bags made up to cover the tops so you can remove while out and about)

In my garage I have the following included in the saleIforwilliams canopy for the back

200tdi engine spare (half striped) requires rebuild

Lt77 gear box amd transfer box both requires rebuilding

Spare Set of 5 factory a/t tyres on factory steel wheels

Middle seat 

Cubby box

Light bar and old style spot lights

More that im forgetting (will take some pics and add soon)

Bad bits 

Obviously the engine isn’t turning over, not sure why.

Interior is a bit rough but honest.

Usual oil leaks for a landy this age

Galv cappings are on the way out on the pick up bed.”
