We’ve seen a lot of camper vans for sale over the past couple of years and the standard can vary from a mattress in a back of a Combi to proper, well built, thought out ‘homes from home’. This one, as you’ll see from the full eBay listing (we’ve only pasted a small snippet of it below!), has been cleverly designed with a vision to create a short stay event vehicle…
From the seller: “The van itself is a 2014 MWB Mercedes sprinter so it’s not too much of a pain to park in town centers etc. and easily maneuverable around tight spaces, and although the wife rarely attends any camping trips I built the van as a 4 berth, its 4 berth and a comfortable 4 berth….. you see campervans advertised that are 3 or 4 berth but the 3rd berth is a wooden board across the front seats and the 4th on the van floor NOT This Van.
This Adventure camper has a bench seat in the living area that holds 4 comfortably when sitting for meals with 2 tables so access is good, the seat then folds out into a double bed with ease and the double composite foams that were the bench seat make the bed along with a third so the total bed size is only a few centimeters under a standard double bed.
the 3rd and 4th berths are fastened to the van wall neatly so that space isn’t compromised, they are around 100mm deep in total so only 100mm lost in space when stored and these beds are again not just wooden frames, they are pocket sprung mattresses with foam built into a proper frame which is suspended from the van ceiling with a purpose built frame. The single beds are very comfy and when put in the camping position act like a top deck. again, the van was built with storage/space in mind so when the top dec is used without the bottom bed the bikes can be left in the van overnight under the top deck.
There is also storage under the seat/fold out bed as well as a pull-out snap on tool box on rails for when you need tools, the front twin seats are fixed to the floor via a mater plate, the plate is a permanent fixture to the van floor but the seat can be quick released in minutes.”
