Mechanically
The car mechanically is spot on and starts first time every time, The engine and gearbox is spot on, Drives very good with no knocks or rattles, The car has had a full stainless steel exhaust system costing over £800 which is from Tony Banks (Google it if you are not familiar with the name) which sounds awesome .
The fuel pipes have been changed from front to rear, service recently done, rear brake shoes done, Battery changed which is still under warranty.
The speedo Clock needs attention as the it only shows the Speed counter working, The rev counter, temp Gauge and Fuel gauge do not work, most likely these will need correctly wiring and the clocks were transferred over from original donor car.
Bodywork/ Interior
The condition of the vehicle for its age is very good, Please bear in Mind the vehicle is 35 years old so please don’t expect a Brand new car, it does have a few minor bubbles on the arches which is common for these cars but they are not rotten. There is also a small hole that has been repaired next to the rear quarter glass (about the size of a £2 coin) that has not had the best job done. The Alloys have been refurbed and are in good condition.
The seats do have rips and tears as you will expect from a 35 year old car I will need recommend getting these re upholstered if you are fussy.”
