From the seller: “This car was first registered in July 1970 in California and spending 47 years of its life in the Sunshine state. The GT came to the UK was dry stored and then fully striped down to a bare shell and fully restored to A1 totally original condition except for a Weber carb fitted and 4 speed manual box uprated to a 5 speed box as recognised by the Opel GT club, brand new carpets, trims, door cards, mats, recovered seats and everything works as it should, drives fantastically and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
The GT has the very rare option Air Con fitted to the car and is believed to be the only one in the UK, the condensing a/c radiator is not fitted but we have it and will be supplied with the car.
We brought the car in the UK, but the car had never been registered in the UK. The car has now been fully registered with HMRC, all forms completed and fees/VAT paid and we now have the NOVA number and the car is ready to be registered with the DVLA, we have not registered yet with the DVLA but it makes more sense to register the buyer so they will be the first owner on the log book, and the form will be supplied pre-filled out.”
