Looking at this Ford Cortina MK3 on eBay brought back a lot of memories for me, as I had one the same colour back when they were a common sight. I don’t think I’ve seen one this close to my old one since!
From the seller: “For sale, My mk 3 Cortina XL, in ford evergreen with tan interior. As you can see in the pictures the body work and interior are both in excellent condition for a 50 year old car. Engine and gear box run lovely 36,000 miles on the clock, all the breaks have been over hauled, new track rod ends been fitted and been laser tracked, tyres are like new. Everything works as it should, lights, horn, indicators etc.. There are no cracks in the dash top, no tears or rips in the seats, carpets, roof lining etc. They are all in great condition.
The car is road legal it is registered tax and mot exempt.”
