We think this Land Rover Lightweight could be a great buy. That 200tdi engine should provide reliable motoring, too.

A reluctant sale but a good opportunity to acquire a rare Series 3 Lightweight land rover and fully functioning sanky trailer of which are both fully and sympathetically restored! The lightweight has a twist, this comes with a 200 TDI engine that makes it that extra bit reliable and better for use as a daily or getting to and from shows where this landrover has been in the past.
With only 6 owners in the past 51 years, this car has been well looked after and is now MOT and tax exempt and has just had a full service with 65425 miles on the clock.
There are a number of things that we have done to get this to where it is today but the main thing to bear in mind is that the chassis is in great solid condition with only minor patches or surface rust and the body work is also in excellent condition.
So why sell it? Good question, every time I get it out I want to put it back into storage again but I brought this over lockdown for a summer car and it has simply not had enough use to justify me keeping it. I have used it for a handful of times for odd jobs and collecting timber from Wickes etc and other than that it has sat in storage ever since. I need funds for a property I have recently purchased so this must go to release these funds.”
