From the seller: “Here for sale is my 1975 mini running and driving project.
The mini has a 1430cc MED engine with the following spec : kent 286 cam, 1.5 roller rockers, big valve med head, omega 73.5mm pistons, med worked crank, straight cut gearbox with 3:1 final drive plate limited slip diff.
The engine and gearbox have only covered 700 miles since rebuild (I have included a couple of photo’s showing the rebuild).
The bodyshell is largely good with a few small areas that could do with welding, there are some dents and tatty areas which I had started to tidy up. It has had various new parts like the radiator, fuel pump, door and quarter cards, front windscreen, rear subframe, heat matrix and rebuild, fuel pump, it’s got all adjustable bit’s.
The car benefits from having the suspension and geometry setup and has also been rolling road tuned. I bought the car when it was on the road but decided to tackle the visual aspect and get it up to scratch with the well sorted mechanical side, I now require the money for a building restoration hence the sale.
It will come with some extra new parts to help finish it including a set of yokohama tyres, black carpet, sound deadening, door mirrors, seatbelts, I also have the paint to finish it, a set of plastic arches etc etc. Overall a great spec project priced sensibly with a small amount of work needed to finish it off.”
