From the seller: “Welcome to the auction of my Triumph Acclaim which has recently been Mot’d after being stored for many years. A nice clean 2 previous owner car that is surprisingly solid and benefits from being automatic, top of the range in its day.
The car starts easily with the twin carb engine pulling the car well and sounds very quiet. It’s a joy to drive and assume it could be used as a daily driver. There is little history but the 31,000 miles look original judging by the general condition of the interior and exterior of this near 40 year old car.
The car has good straight panels with micro blistering on the drivers door and front wing with the odd touch up by the previous owner and a small scratch on the roof.
Top of the range HLS spec the interior is very nice with black velour seats in good condition along with good headlining and dash also very good. The previous owner has fitted a parking sensor which can be easily removed and also 2 speakers are placed on the rear parcel shelf which would also remove easily.
The Mot advised the front are tyres slightly perished (two new tyres were fitted to the rear) and exhaust box has a slight blow but get these done and this solid 80’s car should be a sound usable investment.”
