Body- Two piece removable roof which can be stored inside of the pickup bed. Suicide doors, reverse opening bonnet, louvered tailgate and stainless steel tonneau cover. There are numerous other body modifications. Paint is VW beige and Ed Roth tropically metal flake roof on a black base and custom pinstriping by Stuart McLaren.
Interior- Early MM series seats trimmed in chocolate and tan leather with “bomber” style steel back rests, door panels trimmed in matching leather. Early model series MM/2 steering wheel and dash board finished in Custard pie and Beaver brown metal flake.
All parts when this was rebuilt in 2012/2013 were purchased brand new.
Running Gear- Brand New 0 miles Crate Ford Zetec blacktop engine running Jenvey 45 mm throttle bodies with an Omex 600 series ECU. Retro ford alternator and water pump idler kit, fly wheel/clutch and a Wasp Custom hi torque starter motor. ERA low line alloy sump from Tiger racing. Fully mapped and Dyno tuned with 175 bhp. Brand New 0 miles Ford Type 9 5 speed gearbox with quickshift. One piece propshaft leading to a Mk2 Escort English axle with a 3.54 ratio Quaife LSD. Willwood brakes all round, 260mm disks on the front and 240mm rears.”
