This has GOT to be the sexiest Morris Minor ever built, surely? I’ve got to admit that when I saw the photos, I thought it was a recent build. Not only was I wrong, but it’s been stored away for a while, too…
From the seller: “Here we have a super rare Morris Minor V8 race car built by Mike Bennion back in y 1966 and was raced in 1967 and a lot of history can be found at TenTenths Motorsports. The car also had a front cover on Car Conversions in the Sept/Oct issue. There were only around 10 of these cars built and as far as we know only around 3 have survived. The car has been in storage since 2009 but we have had the engine running and it sounds perfect and very loud! ”
