If ever a car summed up the 80’s!
From the seller: “Mk1 Ford Fiesta xr2 1983 in sunburst red, pictures taken 4/7/21.
I bought it last year and has now been restored with many new parts fitted.
It had rust in the usual places and has been cut out and replaced to a high standard.
It had a bare shell respray with new dmb graphics.
Sourced a tailgate totally rust free, the boot spoiler is mint with all the fixings.
New headlining.
4 new Yokohama tyres.
Callipers refurbed.
New braided hoses and brake pipes.
New discs and pads.
New master cylinder.
New shoes and cylinders and hand brake cables.
Spax nitrogen shocks all round.
New arb brackets.
New k&n filter.
New alternator.
New water pump.
New fuel pump.
New orbital gearbox mountain.
The engine has had new valve stem oil seals and gaskets, runs very well.
New Webber carb service kit.
Gearbox has had all new bearings and gaskets.
It was last on the road in 2006.
V5 present and 12 owners.
64k miles on the clock. Sadly no history. Just an old tax disc from 2006.

The glass has the registration number etched on them, except the tailgate glass.
Interior is ok but it is NOT mint, there are age related marks, front door card is a bit out of shape due to storage, the rear ones are tatty but usable.
The parcel shelf is missing.( if anyone has a good parcel shelf forsale let me know)
Little crack on top of dash.
I have got a ramp so you can have a good look underneath.
