From the seller: “Up for grabs is this one off tribute DeLorean DMC built on a low (30k)mileage 1992 Rover 216 GSi Automatic.
This car lived originally in Kensington ,London with its first owner until 2022 .
Subsequently ,Modifications were applied to this car to convert it into a Tribute DeLorean DMC to be entered into the 2022 Two Ball Rally around Scotland which it completed successfully and also won best car in the event.
The donor car was mechanically checked over thoroughly before the Rally with a new battery fitted ,brakes renewed and a new cambelt kit fitted .
Servicing on this car from new has been carried out with no expense spared ,mainly at Chiswick Honda following the demise of most of the Rover dealers around 2006 .
Solid as a rock all around on the body with original floors and sills with no welding repairs whatsoever .
There is still an active Instagram page teambacktaethefuture for this car featuring it on the 2022 Two Ball Rally .
Great driving car that benefits from having the ultra reliable Honda fuel injection engine and Automatic gearbox with power steering.
