Fast Live Productions today announced its partnership with Mitsubishi Motors in the UK as official support vehicle provider for Fast & Furious Live – the global arena tour where fans can experience the adrenaline-fuelled thrills of the blockbuster film franchise built on speed. Mitsubishi Motors in the UK will provide vehicles for the show’s production team, as well as bespoke modified models to feature in the live show.
In total three Mitsubishi vehicles will appear in the show, including a special Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution which will stun fans during a unique interactive segment of Fast & Furious Live, when the show begins its global tour in the UK in January 2018.
Behind-the-scenes, but equally critical to the show’s success, will be a fleet of versatile and hardworking Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks assisting the production teams. From towing the Fast & Furious Live show cars, to transporting crew members to the multiple production locations, the Mitsubishi L200s will be a big part of the Fast Live Family.

Mitsubishi Motors has a long and rich history with the Fast & Furious film franchise. The global Japanese car brand has featured across several of the films, with many of their star cars becoming fan favourites: from the glowing green Mitsubishi Eclipse in The Fast and the Furious, or the nitrous-boosted Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Previewed to the world last month, the adrenaline-fuelled, two-hour Fast & Furious Live show is set to be the most spectacular live arena production ever produced, featuring precision performance driving and newly created physics-defying stunts. Using favourite cars and locations that criss-cross the globe along with key scenes from the film series – created via state-of-the-art 3D projection mapping – fans will be transported straight into this immersive extension of the Fast & Furious movies.
