Although it’s not exactly a weekend’s work, there isn’t too much left to do on this Ford 100e. Realistically, it’s a winter project.
From the seller: “Hi Welcome to my auction of my 1955 Ford 100e Prefect unfinished project with V5 reg as historical vehicle. I bought the car Sept 2022 as an unfinished project with all intensions to finish but due to time and money have decided to sell. Someone in the past has built a very good box section chassis so the body can be removed. Body shell in very good condition. Steel flip front, small bit of rust on boot lid, paintwork is good but does have some chips and cracks and would need some attention, looks amazing in the sun. Atlas rear axel with lsd. Escort front cross member. 2.0 pinto reconditioned cylinder head. Unleaded. New cam shaft and followers. Type 9, 5 speed gearbox.
Things that need finishing – brake lines and hoses, clutch cable, brake master cylinder, fit front calipers, exhaust cylinder, interior hand brake cable wiring loom.
Parts that come with car – alloy radiator, front calipers, front pads, new wiring loom, new headlight switch, new column switch, ignition switch, door cards and extras.”
