Is this the most desirable retro hot-hatch out there? It’s got to be in the running, surely?
From the seller: “I bought this car to restore for my wife but just can’t see my self getting around to it. This has to be one of the best restoration projects there is. I’m not going to state statistics as everyone has there own opinion but these are extremely rare. Condition wise I don’t think you will find another classic ford restoration project as good as this. The only thing missing is a parcel shelf and I have a number for someone that had one. The only hole I can find is right at the back of the chassis leg the size of a thumb nail. I was told by the previous owner that it was originally red. When I bought the car it was motd and I drove it 30 plus miles home since then it’s just sat in the corner of my workshop. Iv got a brilliant set of spot lights a very good pair of doors (ones on the car arnt that good) and some original clothes for recovering the seats all included in the sale. I haven’t started the car since I parked it up but with fresh fuel and good battery I can’t see why it wouldn’t start. This really must be seen to be appreciated. If it doesn’t sell then my wife and kids will be pleased and I’ll put it in to deep storage. ”
